Back on the snowboard. Took me a run to get back into the swing of things. Again after a heavy Friday night. We got up the mountain pretty late so only got 2 hours in. Another good day mainly on the Shadow basin run. Good conditions with more snow than last weekend. Went back home home and then up to Coronet for a night session.
The best bit of goin up to the remarks is the drive down. You can scare the crap out of urself with the big dropoffs in some areas where theres just a sheer 2000ft drop with no safety barriers on the road.
Aside from that. Theres some awesome places along the track where you can practice your rally driving skills which is awesome fun. Every corner needs a bit of the handbrake to assist the car round the corner.
Todays highlight was overtaking 2 cars and then a bus just before a big S bend chicane where I applied a bit of handbrake into the entry to set up a nice power slide and then straightend it up before handbrakin sliding the car the opposite way into the next corner. Was an awesome manouvre and worked a treat. Scared the crap out of Jamie and Adam but they loved it. Dont know what everyone on the bus and in them 2 cars thought though.
